We have been truly overwhelmed by the generosity of people and businesses in Huddersfield and the Holme Valley. To date we have received as donations the following:
- Seeds and gardening tools donated by the staff of Poundworld in Huddersfield; we used these as prizes in the raffle held on 21st March in Holmfirth
- Gardening tools donated by Tim Jones; Tim gave us a number of forks, spades and hoes, plus some shears, as a basis for the Tool Bank
- Wheelbarrow and 50 packets of vegetable and salad seeds donated by B & Q Huddersfield; the seeds will be distributed at the various seed and seedling give-aways this summer, the wheelbarrow will be planted up with vegetables and herbs as a mobile allotment.
- Mr Robins of Trafalgar Plant Centre King Cross Road Halifax who donated trays and trays of vegetable seedlings which we were able to pot up and give away in Huddersfield Town Centre on 9th May; and more trays for the Honley Show give-away on 12th June.
- Flower posts for potting up given by the Windmill Nurseries Royd Lane (next to Royd Hill Wind Farm!)
- Kate donated several trays of plants for the stall in Huddersfield Town Centre on 9th May
- Briar Court Nursery donated several trays of tomato plants the stall in Huddersfield Town Centre on 9th May
